Nsqk Ushers In His New Era With “Hombre de Bien”
Groundbreaking Mexican singer and producer Nsqk ushers in his new era with “Hombre de Bien,” the first preview of his third studio album. The single is available on all digital platforms via Honey, a record label under Worldwide Records.
Written and produced by Nsqk, the song unfolds as a first-person story: a kind of reckoning with the protagonist’s emotional state and the mental and emotional shift that follows the end of a relationship.
The track weaves together an internal monologue and a conversation with the “niña chiflada” [spoiled girl] who, at one point, was the center of the protagonist’s universe. In it, he acknowledges the pain of her suffering and offers a space to let go and revisit better times.
The single reaches its climax when the protagonist confronts her about the moment that triggered his emotional death: “Cariño, ¿qué hiciste? Ahora todo se vuelve memoria. Que Dios me tenga en su santa gloria,” which translates into English as: “Darling, what did you do? Now everything turns to memory. May God keep me in His holy glory.” The lines bring the story full circle, revealing what set the protagonist’s transformation in motion.
Musically, the track lives within the alternative genre, layering sophisticated sound design. Alternative sounds merge with industrial and electronic music in a convergence that reflects Nsqk’s wide-ranging influences as a producer and the constant evolution of his sound.
Synths and distortion take center stage musically, blending with piano and saturated saxophones at the song’s emotional peak for a cinematic sound.
The release arrives alongside a music video directed and produced by Mono Studio, under the creative direction of Valeria Aguilar, and filmed in Mina, Nuevo León. The visuals match the song’s cinematic quality and feature the artist’s symbolic death. The narrative brings together Nsqk, an older man, and the Dalmatian the artist has woven into his universe since the double release of “piel / kombate” in 2025.
Alongside the release, Nsqk unveiled a mobile experience through his website, nsqk.com, built around the question “¿Estás Poniendo Atención?” [Are You Paying Attention?] It opens with a broadcast on Canal 600, part of Nsqk’s new universe, which, once tuned in, drops viewers into an escape-room-style experience where they must solve a series of clues.
While exploring the room, viewers are transported to a nighttime open field ringed by concert speaker towers, where a sound check is underway, with recurring bursts of guitar and drums, and a voice asks: “¿están listos?” [Are you ready?] All the while, the main mission demands the player’s full attention: catching four flies in the dark.
On nsqk.com, a character, Margot of this new universe, was introduced: a woman who was seen buying tickets with a scratch-off card and later, frantically trying her luck at a café table. The tickets bear the word “MOSCA” [FLY] and a Dalmatian, an iconography that runs through this new era of Nsqk.
Out of nowhere, Nsqk becomes part of the story himself: he’s handed a cup of coffee alongside a fortune cookie bearing the central message, “¿Estás Poniendo Atención?” Then, a Dalmatian brings him one of the tickets, which he scratches off — and wins.
“Hombre de Bien” marks Nsqk’s first release since his early-2026 debut on the Spotify Sessions series, backed by the Big Band Jazz de México and under the musical direction of legendary Mexican artist Meme del Real (Café Tacvba). The series featured acoustic reimaginings of four of his hits, along with the world debut of “No Basta Con Querernos Más.”
Through releases like ROY and ATP, Nsqk has built a devoted fan base, making him the first soloist from Monterrey to sell out two consecutive nights at Mexico City’s legendary Palacio de los Deportes, drawing 42,000 fans and cementing his place as the most innovative and culturally relevant artist of his generation.
