New York Punk&B Artist Danny Singh Show Us His “honeybby”

Emerging New York-native and PUNK&B artist Danny Singh releases his latest track, “honeybby.” Leaning further into his R&B and pop sensibilities, the summer-ready record pairs a synth-driven groove with sleek, smooth vocals as Danny captures the yearning and anticipation that comes with pursuing a potential relationship. Romantic yet confident, “honeybby” balances vulnerability with charm, centered around the track’s defining question: “would you give me a chance?”

In addition to this release, Danny has announced a headline show at Baby’s All Right on June 13th, where he’ll bring his discography to life on stage. The performance will also feature support from his side project RUOK, the band he formed alongside his brothers, who will serve as his backing band for the night. Tickets are available HERE.

This track follows Danny Singh’s latest body of work, CALL FOR TAKEOUT, a three-track EP that takes listeners on a quick but chaotic ride through love, temptation, and regret. Listen to CALL FOR TAKE OUT HERE.Alongside the EP, Singh shared a short film that brought the project’s narrative to life. The film opens with a heated phone call between Danny and his significant other, who questions why he never seems to have time for her while he insists he’s “at work.” The moment transitions into the EP’s opening track, “Sneakin N Geekin,” a melodic and atmospheric record featuring RX 2doe of New York’s RX Papi collective. As the story unfolds, Danny spends his day surrounded by temptation and distractions before the tone shifts into “Deepend,” a slower, more introspective moment reflecting on a relationship that may already be slipping away. The visual then takes a cinematic turn into the EP’s closing track, “Falling4u,” bringing the story through the emotional highs and lows of love before ending on a striking final moment. Watch the short film HERE.

Last year, Danny Singh emerged as a breakout force with his standout On The Radar episode, performing his viral single “WYD?,” which has amassed over 4 million views and sparked strong reactions online. He sustained the momentum with buzzworthy DIY raves and a string of single releases, culminating in MAN OF THE YEARa 15-track project that crosses multiple genres. The project marked a bold evolution from the lane where he established PUNK&B, his signature fusion of punk rock’s grit and R&B’s soul, while maintaining the raw energy, sharp lyricism, and unexpected emotion that define his sound.

On MAN OF THE YEAR, Danny drew from New York City roots, early church influences, and years of breaking molds. The Aquarian praised his rise, noting, “His singles are garnering him quite the buzz around New York City. ‘WYD?’ illustrates his prowess not only with his writing, but insatiable beats.” A stripped-back performance for Yerr On The Street alongside his brothers offered a more intimate, reflective glimpse into his artistry and eventually landed him the cover of Bleu Magazine. As Office Magazine notes, “If there’s one thing Danny Singh isn’t, it’s afraid to try something different,” and with CALL FOR TAKEOUT, he proves he’s continuing to elevate and expand his sound.
