Laila! Says “We’ll Never Be This Young Again”
Singer, songwriter, and powerhouse producer on the rise LAILA! is officially extending the season. Today, she releases her breathtaking new single and accompanying music video, “We’ll Never Be This Young Again.” Serving as the title track from her highly anticipated forthcoming sophomore album of the same name, arriving October 23rd via three times LOUDER / Warner Records, the single and video further cements LAILA!’s status as the definitive architect of her own breakout sound.
Written and produced by LAILA!, “We’ll Never Be This Young Again” is a warm, youthful masterclass in bittersweet nostalgia. The track captures the head-over-heels rush of a love that suspends time, turning the fading days of summer into a gorgeous metaphor for wanting to hold onto a fleeting moment just a little longer. Set against a dreamy, glowing backdrop of airy synths, soft percussion, and LAILA!’s signature layered vocals, she glides through a hazy groove that unfolds like a memory in real-time. Romantic and wistful, it sounds exactly like one last perfect summer day, proving that with the right person, the season can last forever.
