JP Saxe Partners With TINI On New Single

Multi-platinum master storyteller JP Saxe has teamed up with Argentine Star TINI on “Strangers.” The song comes along with the announcement of Part Two of JP’s two-part album Make Yourself At Home.

On “Strangers” Saxe and TINI are consumed by what the other person is thinking near the end of a relationship. JP reminisces:

“If I come over

Can we just pretend

It’s 2019 and I’m still just your friend

You can tell me everything

And I can hold you like it’s just that simple

I can hold you like it’s just that simple”

JP Saxe is a Canadian singer-songwriter has a number of hits and from the sounds of it, he’s just getting started. His hit track “The Few Things” has garnered over 50 million streams, and his name hs been substantially growing since then. In the last few years Saxe has gone on his first major international tour, teamed up with Charlotte Lawrence, and signed a label deal with Arista Records.

Saxe and TINI both put their feelings into this track as they used catchy poetry and simply pouring their honesty in their music. Saxe really digs deep into the idea of perceptions and what it’s like when you talk to a stranger about breakups or problems in general and they sometimes feel like they are obligated to agree.

The first part of his two-part album, Articulate Excuses, was released last month featuring songs “I WANNA MOVE TO BROOKLYN” and “SMARTPHONE MAKE ME DUMB.” The second part of the album focuses on the growth the he has seen within himself after reflecting on his actions and patterns dissected throughout part one.

“Strangers” will be released on Friday, May 16th on all platforms.
