Ice Spice Continues Hot Streak with “In Ha Mood,”
Making waves with her sly grin and quotable bars, Ice Spice was one of the biggest breakout stars of 2022. Kicking off the New Year, Ice Spice officially drops “In Ha Mood” on all DSPs. Originally released on SoundCloud over the holidays, to the tune of 2.2 million plays, the RIOTUSA-produced “In Ha Mood” is Ice’s third straight single to earn viral traction on social media–the snippet generated over 70k video creations and 13.6 million views on TikTok.
“In Ha Mood” is the first single to emerge in the wake of Ice Spice’s massive year. In August, the newly-turned 23-year-old artist shared “Munch (Feelin U),” the runaway hit that helped turn Ice Spice into one of the hottest risers in hip-hop. “Munch” earned universal critical acclaim, earning “Best Song of the Year” mentions in publications like The New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard, NPR, The Washington Post, and many, many others. Ice Spice followed up “Munch” with the viral single “Bikini Bottom,” which earned over 13 million Spotify streams and over 130k TikTok creations.
