Hurricane Wisdom Collabs W/ Chance The Rapper On “Barbie Doll”

Hurricane Wisdom is winning hearts and minds across the rap game with his sharp songwriting and infectious melodies. After scoring several hits and amassing over 1 billion streams across his catalog, the young North Florida artist prepares for his next chapter, announcing Weather The World, his upcoming album. The highly-anticipated follow-up to 2025’s Perfect Storm and Perfect Storm: Sorry 4 The Rain arrives on June 5th via Rebel/gamma.

Along with the album announcement, Hurricane drops “Barbie Doll,” the artist’s first-ever collaboration with Grammy-winning artist Chance The Rapper, one of Hurricane’s all-time favorite artists. The song is a perfect merger of their two melodic sensibilities, with a soulful, bouncing piano-led beat laying the groundwork for nimble staccato verses by both artists. Hurricane introduces the song, effortlessly twirling syllables into plaintive, circular tunes about his flirtations with a gorgeous woman. Chance enlivens the middle verse, leaning into the track with charm and his trademark lyrical acrobatics. The song arrives alongside a music video starring both Hurricane Wisdom and Chance The Rapper, live now on Hurricane’s YouTube.

“Barbie Doll” continues Hurricane’s hot streak, marked by several viral singles, trending music videos, and artist-to-watch honors from Complex and Spotify. The North Florida native expanded into the world of Afrobeats with “LIVING UP,” complete with a video set in the outskirts of Lagos, Nigeria. The video has over 2.2 million views, to add to the song’s 5 million global streams.  In late 2025, Hurricane dropped  “My Life” (3.7 million views), which peaked at #9 on YouTube’s Trending Chart for Music, en route to more than 15 million global streams.  Subsequent singles “Dangerous” (2.9 million views) and “Over Now” (4.4 million views) each approached 10 million global streams, after hitting the YouTube Trending Charts. Most recently, Hurricane attempted to deal with the weight of his newfound responsibilities on “Enough,” which generated over 1.2 million views in just two weeks. Hurricane’s run of singles built on the momentum fomented by 2025’s BIllboard 200-charting The Perfect Storm and Perfect Storm: Sorry 4 The Rain.

Keeping the pressure on as he thunders his way to the top of the rap game, Hurricane Wisdom is ready to make a Category 5 impact on the industry. Don’t sleep..Weather The World is coming.
