GREGBLU is an Independent artist living in Japan. His style, genre-wise, is along the lines of alternative hip-hop. Everything he does is self-made.

The sound of this project is sporadic and is a rollercoaster of emotions. Currently, the video “SOBA” has a total of hundred twenty-three views in counting. Similarly shares the influences of RZA in his delivery, artistically close to Kid Cudi and Taylor The Creator.

In addition, the production of the album is clean. Also, GREGBLU shows his beat-making abilities on the track “TYO Nights” This song is completely instrumental and has a vibe of lo-fi. This is not your typical demo tape with a signature sound. GREGBLU is transparent about what is trying to convey to the listener.

Some of the themes are heartbreak, angst, and cockiness.  Most of the songs on the album range from two to three minutes. Now, GREGBLU gives off very nostalgic vibes in his appearance as well as in his directing style in his videos.

The inspiration behind the track “DESIRE U” was losing a fine woman base on the artist’s posts on Reddit.

A listener on Reddit had this to say about the album “nice music man, feeling it”. Clearly, he is relatable to listeners and is able to get his message across.

First, he produces different style beats and then, creates music videos. He is an upcoming artist and it’s going to be exciting to see where he goes. Overall, GREGBLU  has something to offer and a fresh perspective.
