Eyedress & Knucklehead Show The “Final Act of Love”

Today, multi-platinum alt singer-songwriter Eyedress (11.1M Monthly Listeners) releases his new single “Final Act of Love (ft. Knucklehead Tom)”.

Released via Atlantic Records in partnership with Eyedress’s label, Psychedelic Industries, the track examines the moment when holding on becomes more painful than finally letting go.

“Final Act of Love” is technically my second song with Tom, but the first one to be released,” says Eyedress. “The first time we hung out we made a pretty heavy punk song with his band Knuckleheadz, but “Final Act of Love” is a softer, heartfelt and vulnerable track. I tried my best to capture Tom’s pain when I was making the music, hence the melancholy vibes. Tom loves The Cure so I tried to keep it within that realm of new wave music that I grew up listening to as my parents were also big fans of The Cure so I had their cd’s in my house growing up.”

Featuring Knucklehead Tom, frontman of the punk band KnuckleHeadz, the new track explores the aftermath of a relationship marked by broken promises and memories that refuse to fade. The collaboration also marks a cultural moment for skateboarding, bringing together two prominent figures within the skate world. Written and produced by Eyedress, “Final Act of Love (ft. Knucklehead Tom)” captures the cycle of heartbreak through vivid imagery and a recurring search for light, as he struggles to rebuild himself and accept what cannot be undone.

“My whole life has felt like I’ve had to learn how to let go. That’s what Final Act of Love is about. Sometimes, letting go is the final act of love,” says Knucklehead Tom. “Eyedress helped me turn those feelings into art. This will always be a reminder to me that things do get better. When you finally let go of what’s not meant for you, you make room for what is. I hope this song reminds someone else that even when it hurts, letting go can be the beginning of something better!”

Eyedress also recently teamed up with indie rock artist Winter on her forthcoming Romantix Mixtape EP for “nicotine,” a moody, trip-hop-inspired song featured on her forthcoming EP, Romantix Mixtape, arriving September 28 via Winspear. Built around reimagined songs and previously unheard material from the world of Winter’s 2025 album, the project also includes collaborations with Soccer Mommy and Peel Dream Magazine.

Over the past several years, Eyedress has built a global following through his genre-blurring mix of lo-fi hip-hop, post-punk, goth, and indie rock. He achieved massive crossover success with the triple-platinum hit “Jealous,” followed by platinum-certified tracks “Romantic Lover” and “Something About You.” His 2025 album Stoner saw him headline the El Rey Theatre and perform across two weekends on Coachella’s Mojave stage alongside collaborators including Mac DeMarco, The Marías, and Mayer Hawthorne.
