Chin Up, Kid’s “Incubus” Screams Alternative

Chin Up, Kid reveals their new single, “Incubus,” along with a video on YouTube. The song follows the February 2023 launch of “Back Again,” which became their first new song in 4 years. This also links with the band’s ten-year anniversary. What’s more, “Incubus” is part of the band’s new album, Blackheart Social, available on March 22nd, 2024 with We Are Triumphant Records.

Featuring Danny Rose of Hollywood Undead, his voice raises the energy of the new single. For instance, the strong backbeat of the drums and bass guitar holds a solid, tuneful pattern. Moreover, these sounds bond well with the strong vocal pitch of Rose! From the beginning of the song, listeners will hook to the chilling soft beats building slowly into a thumping rhythm which brings a new sound to alternative rock.

Chin Up, Kid’s Jon Benjamin shares his joy for the new single. “Incubus is the part of our record that deals with the temptations brought on by the Hollywood life. The main character absolutely indulges in this. It was so great working with Danny on this song! He absolutely brought our vision to life with his additions!”

The new single is streaming now on all platforms. Also watch Chin Up, Kid’s new music video for the single below!
