Big Moochie Grape Takes a Trip to NY For “Still Signed To Dolph”
Big Moochie Grape made a splash with his recent tape Grapetoven, a full-length collaboration with trap sound architect, Zaytoven. The Paper Route Empire rapper asserts his proud independence and pays tribute to his mentor with “Still Signed To Dolph,” his new music video. Running roughshod over Zay’s percolating organs and gently swinging percussion, counting his collection of luxury trucks as he explains that he has his opps shook: “Yeah, wreck that, cop the Maybach, then I watch it crawl/Yeah, I got these n*****s psyched out, go give ’em Tramadol,” he spits. In the video, Moochie stunts in front of his custom-wrapped sports cars and shares scenes from his trip to NYC, where he pops out the window of his truck with the skyline in his rearview. Moochie’s video for “Still Signed to Dolph” follows his viral Bar4Bar live band performance of the song.
Spanning 11 tracks, the album finds Moochie in rare form, stacking outlandish flexes with power and finesse, cementing himself as a larger-than-life Memphis icon. Moochie’s booming delivery is the perfect complement to Zaytoven’s soulful signature sound, with swirling church organs and ear-teasing keyboard arpeggios dancing around Moochie’s bars like the diamonds around his neck. The new album is home to recent singles like “Big Deposits” ft. Bally Baby, an uber-confident anthem for those who have more money than they can spend, and “Ball Without The Dribble,” a collaboration with Florida’s Trigga500k that proves that Moochie can flex with the best of them. Throughout the tape, Zaytoven brings his A-game, providing the royal trap treatment to Moochie, who joins iconic rappers like Future, Gucci Mane, and Dolph himself as a major collaborator of the ATL-based sound architect.
Grapetoven continues to build momentum for Big Moochie Grape as he thunders into Q4 2026, arriving in the wake of singles like “Genie” and his two collaborations with Fetty P Franklin, “Do What I Wanna,” and for Fetty’s single “Bows and Bricks.” Last year, Moochie released two albums, including the horror-themed Nightmare On AB and EAT OR GET ATE 2 (DELUXE). reference to the famous Nightmare films and his home block of Apple Blossom Drive, in East Memphis, Nightmare On AB quickly establishes the life and death stakes of day-to-day in his neighborhood, where it is hustle or fall behind, and kill or be killed. Sometimes, Moochie is the monster in the movie, while other times, he is the victim, and the roles reverse more often than you can count. Home to singles like “Humongous” and “I Earned It,” Nightmare On AB is available on all platforms via Paper Route Empire.
With his unshakeable work ethic and Zaytoven in his corner, Big Moochie Grape promises to keep grinding until the whole world knows what PRE and East Memphis are all about.
