It’s been about six months since he presented his Def Jam Recordings debut Everybody Can’t Go. With some music teasing on his Instagram, Benny The Butcher dropped “Summer ‘24”, now available at all digital streaming platforms. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Benny The Butcher found his passion in music by writing about his life. His raps often reflect on him growing up with difficult experiences in order to support himself and his future. Starting his music journey in 2004, the rapper would drop numerous amounts of mixtapes over the years. Until he got the chance of a lifetime which boosted his name in the industry. His big break came in the year in 2014, when rapper, Westside Gunn founded Griselda Records. This label would help the newcomer self-release his own projects as well as other hip-hop artists. Becoming a regular featured artist for the label guided his way into popularity in the genre. As years went by, the hip-hop artist finds himself signing to Def Jam Recordings for his upcoming releases. This was announced by the label’s creative consultant, none other than Snoop Dogg. Giving him the opportunity to feature in his songs as well. Giving Benny his flowers after his trials and tribulations in the music business.
