Bandmanrill and.DJ Sliink are major figures in the Jersey music scene, leading the wave of club rap fusion that is taking over the East Coast. Reuniting for an uptempo banger, the Newark duo shares “Real Hips II,” their new single. The sequel to Bandman’s 2022 collaboration “Real Hips,” acclaimed by Pitchfork and The FADER and appearing on his album Club Godfather, “Real Hips II” expands upon the original, adding live percussion and synth strings to the insistent beat.
