Aazar Returns With “Nobody”

Aazar makes his grand return to Tchami’s Confession imprint with “Nobody” featuring Nigerian vocalist C-Mart – a brilliant collision of Aazar’s notable bass house productions and C-Mart’s spirited Afro vocals. On the making of the record, Aazar shares this funny anecdote; “‘Nobody’ is born from a beautiful mistake. I met C-Mart a few years ago and we matched immediately! We were thinking of doing an Afrobeat kinda vibe record but without realizing, I sent him the wrong instrumental. He texted me back “Bro that’s an unexpected sick tune! Let me bring my universe into yours!” I didn’t fully understand what he meant but when I received his first version I realized it was a  ‘beautiful mistake.’ We finished the record and agreed that we should defo put it out!”In 2019, Aazar launched his own worldwide party concept “Bakery Session”. The idea is simple: to reunite fans in a bakery for an intimate show, with a line-up worthy of the best festivals – all while enjoying the best croissants and bread in town. With his last edition during ADE 2023 in Amsterdam, the bakery the family now boasts names like Trym, Tchami, Yellow Claw, Dombresky, Wax Motif, Euro Trash, Habstrakt, Shift Key, Tony Romera, Flosstradamus, 4B, Mercer, Nostalgix, Kungs and Yung Felix amongst others. The eclectic artist roster at the Bakery Sessions reflects one of Aazar’s core values, which is to embrace different vibes and energy in his music. C-Mart is typically featured on Afrobeats records, but this collaboration challenges his norm, and the result is really appealing. With a mission to share good music (and good bread), Aazar continues to educate his fans about embracing versatility. “Nobody” is out on Confession on November 17.
