2hollis Releases New Song “gold”

Today multi-hyphenated producer and artist 2hollis releases new single “gold” (Interscope Records). 2hollis teased a snippet on his Discord last week, where fans quickly rallied behind the upcoming track along with earlier online buzz from a short clip he posted on Instagram on the Ken Carson tour. “gold” is now streaming platforms alongside a self-directed official music video.

A frenetic blend of pyrotechnic production, experimental soundscapes, and fervor-filled vocals, “gold” is a perfect showcase of how the 20-year-old disruptor continues to challenge traditional boundaries of music creation.

“gold” opens on an otherworldly whirr with 2hollis’ declaring, “Ain’t no point in waiting,” repeatedly until the song drops — distorted drums and synth take over as his voice is disassembled by the low end: “Pick you up, dollar store / Front seat laughing with your gold teeth / What you want? Make it yours.” The track explodes in an exhilarating hail of noise, blending an expansive range of various musical styles to create both an exhilarating and introspective auditory experience, a now signature feeling of 2hollis records.

Fresh off the heels of a 39-date run as direct support for Ken Carson2hollis also recently announced his Leg One Fall headlining North American Tour, now entirely sold out within days of official reveal.
