Mr Eazi + King Promise Release Joint Album, ‘See What We’ve Done’
Global African music icons Mr Eazi and King Promise have unveiled their highly anticipated collaborative album See What We’ve done today.
The nine-track project captures the synergy of friendship, growth and perfect timing along with a shared history and culture.
“See What We’ve Done is a celebration of friendship, growth and gratitude”, Mr Eazi states.
The album unfolds as a journey through emotion, energy and evolution. The opening track Where Have You Been is the project’s emotional anchor, setting a reflective tone. The following track That Way is a generational bridge that reimagines the Backstreet Boys’ millennial pop classic I Want It That Way.
Mr Eazi, a GRAMMY & Latin GRAMMY Award-winning musician & entrepreneur, is one of Africa’s most-streamed artists with over two billion global streams. Raised in Nigeria and breaking out of Ghana, Mr Eazi has pioneered Banku Music, a mellow fusion of Ghanaian highlife, Nigerian chord sensibilities and Pidgin storytelling. He later became one of the first Africanartists to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and is behind afropop staples such as Skin Tight, Leg Over and Patek.
His collaborator King Promise was born and raised in Accra and is one of Africa’s most defining hitmakers, shaping the contemporary Ghanaian wave. Promise blends afrobeats, highlife, R&B and hip-hop into effortless emotionally resonant sound. His early standouts such as So Special and No Problem paved the way for his breakout Thank God featuring Fuse ODG.
With these two iconic artists, See What We’ve Done isn’t just a joint release, but a statement of creative alignment, capturing two artists who are nostalgic for their past while focusing on the future ahead of them.
