Morgan Wallen Announces Upcoming Album
On March 21st, Country mega star Morgan Wallen released multiple new singles that will be featured on his upcoming album I’m The Problem. The songs that were released are titled “I’m The Problem,” “Smile,” “Lies Lies Lies,” “Just In Case,” and “I’m A Little Crazy” (The latter two were the ones that were released on the 21st).
Wallen wasn’t a writer on “I’m a Little Crazy,” which was penned by Hunter Phelps, Jameson Rodgers, Michael Hardy (HARDY) and Smith Ahnquist. The song delves into the mindset of someone acknowledging that they may have some unique tendencies, from keeping a loaded gun by the bedside to numbing the pain of watching the daily news, but looking at the greater reams of crimes happening in the world, they decide, “I’m a little crazy, but the world’s insane.”
The former CMA Entertainer of the Year award-winner hasn’t released an album since 2023 when he dropped his 36-track library One Thing At A Time. I’m The Problem is Morgan Wallen’s fourth studio album that includes 37 tracks. About the forthcoming release, Wallen said the following via a press statement:
“I have been a problem, for sure, and I’ve got no problem admitting that. But there are other sides to me as well. I’ve spent the last 11 months really trying to figure out, ‘Do I still want to be the problem? Is it time to move past that phase in my life?’ I think it probably is, and this might be the last time I get a chance to honestly say it.”
The album’s title speaks to how Morgan Wallen and his evolution from consistent country chart-topper to an all-genre Billboard superstar has also involved a few police appearances and intoxicated mishaps.
I’m The Problem will be released on all platforms on May 16th.
