John Richmond Spring/Summer 2026 Show

John Richmond Spring/Summer 2026 Show

For SS26, John Richmond rips up the rulebook. Forget the old runway format, Culture Vulture is a new way to experience the brand: instinctive, immersive, alive. Three nights. Three cities. One continuous energy flowing through London, Milan, and Paris.

London kicks it off. During Fashion Week, the SS26 collection takes over Covent Garden’s iconic club STEREO, where music, style, and London’s raw edge collide. The club becomes the stage, part show, part gig. Runway and nightlife blur, the band disrupts the order, and the clothes burst to life: unfiltered, unexpected, unmistakably Richmond.

This season, the collection taps into Richmond’s authentic musical heritage in an ode to the Culture Vulture, embracing 70s soul boys, pre-punk Americana, clubland chic, and Goth. A patchwork of subcultures distilled into a language that belongs only to John Richmond. The collection fuses styles in bold new ways, challenging boundaries while staying true to its rebellious roots. Contrasts dominate: satin clashes with organza, lace and georgette meet leather and distressed denim. Couture beadwork collides with tattoo-inspired graphics. Statement pieces embody Richmond’s distinctive edge, streetwise yet romantic, raw yet refined.

The palette is grounded in black and ivory, jolted by flashes of gold, turquoise, and yellow. An expression of both sophistication and defiance. A vision of modern fashion, bridging subculture and luxury into a visual language that speaks to both tradition and the avant-garde. Styling is by Mirko Pedone, whose sharp editorial vision and connection to subcultures amplify Richmond’s rebellious DNA. Casting for the show is curated by Carola Monteleone, known for her instinctive eye and ability to bring unpolished, authentic beauty into the spotlight.

And the night doesn’t stop when the music ends. Richmond joins forces with The1989, a forward-thinking platform in contemporary underground culture, to throw a party with a true London spirit: authentic, international, vibrant. The line-up mirrors that collision. Paul Simon of The Clash will DJ back-to-back with Dan Donovan, joined by Faris Badwan of The Horrors. Solange Smith will perform a live poem, while Sounds Mint and other names from the city’s underground will channel the raw electricity of a live gig. The event will be captured through the lens of The Cobra Snake, whose instinct for catching the stars, sweat, and sparks of a generation promises to distil every shade of chaos and beauty into timeless images.

From there, Culture Vulture moves into Milan and Paris, where the energy evolves through open-format gatherings that blur the line between show and experience. The clothes are not only presented but lived, absorbed into the rhythm of the city by a community of creatives: musicians, dancers, stylists, artists. They embody Richmond not just on their skin but in their spirit. Culture Vulture unites John Richmond with the true essence of fashion’s lifeblood: the people. Not in perfection, but in energy. Not in silence, but in sound. Three cities. Three nights. One message.
