Destin Conrad Releases Single + Video “Kissing In Public”

GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter DESTIN CONRAD continues to build momentum leading up to his debut album, LOVE ON DIGITAL, with the release of his new single and video, “KISSING IN PUBLIC,” out now via EMPIRE. The track captures DESTIN at his most authentic–an open celebration of queer love that echoes the flirtatious spirit of early 2000s R&B while feeling completely current.

With every beat, “KISSING IN PUBLIC” becomes an anthem for love. In the video, DESTIN takes on his boldest choreography to date, seamlessly moving through the streets in eye-catching, fashion-forward outfits. The visuals embrace love in all its forms, infused with a carefree spirit and an homage to the 2000s–delivered in a way that’s contemporary and uniquely his own.

With his debut album finally on the horizon, LOVE ON DIGITAL, out April 25 via EMPIRE, DESTIN reframes the modern love story—one shaped by FaceTime calls, voice notes, time zones, and touchscreens. Through a collection of genre-blurring tracks, DESTIN unpacks what it means to seek connection in a digital-first world, weaving humor, heartbreak, and vulnerability into every hook. Pre-save HERE

LOVE ON DIGITAL pulls influence from the nostalgic textures of early-2000s R&B while leaning into its future-facing evolution. With its diaristic tone and cinematic feel, the project offers a raw look at a relationship that bloomed entirely online, and the hard truth that even the strongest signals can still fade.

Raised in Tampa, Florida, DESTIN first rose to prominence on Vine before making his official entry into music. His songwriting credits on Kehlani’s Billboard No. 2 album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t set the stage for his own breakout. In 2021, he dropped his debut project COLORWAY (now with over 120M streams), followed by 2022’s SATIN, and hit the road touring with Syd and Kehlani.

2023 marked his first headlining tour across Europe and the UK, with sold-out stops in AmsterdamParis, and three consecutive nights in London. In 2024, he followed up with the dual projects SUBMISSIVE and SUBMISSIVE 2, playing 47 shows across the US, EU, and UK. Over the past year, he’s earned features in BillboardEssenceVIBEThe FADER, and a digital cover with Gay Times—solidifying his place as one of R&B’s most magnetic new voices.
