AMÉMÉ And His Global Competition
On March 19th, Afro-house DJ and producer AMÉME went live with a global competition. This competition is giving DJs and producers the chance to reimagine his hit single “Power” featuring vocals from Mario Reyes. As the founder of One Tribe, AMÉME and his label are known for their events and vibrant gatherings that unite diverse individuals across art, fashion, and music.
AMÉMÉ is a West African native who channels his cultural roots and ancestry into everything he does. Born and raised in Benin, AMÉMÉ created One Tribe, a global community and brand identity centered on unity and a positive outlook. His visionary capabilities and unwavering dedication have been the catalyst behind the rapid growth and proliferation of both his musical endeavors and One Tribe as a whole.
Specializing in Afro-leaning electronic music with flourishes of tribal percussion and spiritual vocals built upon a foundation of contemporary deep house and tech AMÉMÉ’s name would soon be ringing in the ears of other key tastemakers.

The Winning remix will receive an official release on AMÉMÉ’s One Tribe Records and earn a spot in the lineup for the label’s NYC showcase this autumn at the House of Yes. The winner will also receive exclusive One Tribe merchandise, and the chance to have their remix played by AMÉMÉ and other top DJs around the world. As mentioned above, the competition kicked off on March 19th and AMÉMÉ and One Tribe Records will be taking submission until April 11th.
