Pink Pablo Releases “Me Canse De Estar Muerto”
Closing the chapter on what once was, breakthrough phenomenon Pink Pablo steps into a new era with the striking release of “ME CANSÉ DE ESTAR MUERTO.” A journey of rebirth, the song takes a final glimpse into the star’s upcoming EP, slated for release in the coming month. “ME CANSÉ DE ESTAR MUERTO” is now available on all digital platforms.
Consumed by spine-chilling organ keys and eerie harmonies, “ME CANSÉ DE ESTAR MUERTO” uncovers an assertive Pablo, forceful and confident in himself as he claims back his power. The exceptionally curated track serves as a departure from the old Pink Pablo as his uncanny and masterful artistic direction takes center stage. Laced with distorted punches and passion-driven lyrics, Pink Pablo experiences the ultimate epiphany, finding ground after sleepwalking all this time. “Ya me cansé de estar muerto,” he chants, “Deja de perder el tiempo, ellos no son tus amigos,” (I’m tired of being dead/ Stop wasting your time, they aren’t your friends). The perfect blend of nostalgia and power, Pink Pablo recounts past experiences that have shaped him into who he is today: “Son errores que no voy a repetir, eso yo te lo prometo,” (Those are mistakes I won’t make again, this I promise you).
The new single treads on the heels of “HORSES IN HEAVES,” released at the beginning of the month. A stark contrast to the gritty essence of “ME CANSÉ DE ESTAR MUERTO,” the whimsical track sees the artist discover a newfound perspective of love.
Earlier in the year, Pink Pablo marked a groundbreaking pivotal moment in his flourishing career with an impactful run during the 2024 SXSW®. The Puerto Rican star left a lasting impression on concert goers with performances for KEXP, LA Times, and Rolling Stone’s coveted ‘Future of Music’ showcase. The dazzling week-long show circuit paved the way for his anticipated AXE Ceremonia debut in Mexico City. Additionally, Pink Pablo has also brought to life impressive performances for Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Corona’s Sunset Sessions, and more recently, Santurce Es Ley in Puerto Rico this past weekend.
Pink Pablo is currently adding the finishing touches on his anticipated sophomore EP, a follow up to his debut EP ‘road 2 neverland,’ released in the fall of 2023. The EPs summarize his journey after making the ultimate decision to walk away from his PhD and solely focus on his music career. With his art, and under the direction of his manager, Marcos Mazo, Pink Pablo seeks to continue pushing the boundaries within the music industry.
