Blanca Teams Up With Yandel For Spanish Version Of “Worthy”
Curb Records powerhouse artist Blanca teams up with multiple GRAMMY® Award winner and Latin music producer Yandel for a Spanish-language version of “Worthy.”
After officially releasing the original song in August, which quickly became a listener favorite and generated enormous excitement online, today he presents two versions of the hit song. Both versions, in Spanish and in Spanish and English, include the special participation of Yandel.
This important collaboration comes naturally. Upon hearing “Worthy,” the artist expressed his enthusiasm for the track and his love for the musical style, even mentioning that if he ever made a song of faith, it would be something similar. After several conversations, Yandel reaffirmed his interest in collaborating and, shortly after, he recorded and wrote his own verse, adding his personal and authentic touch. The project marks a milestone in his career, being his first song dedicated to God.
The versatile singer has accumulated impressive numbers of reproductions, achieving worldwide positioning and recognition. Throughout his successful career, Yandel has worked with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, among others.
“The emotion of having been able to make this song in Spanish feels, simply, like a full moment, in which my roots, who I am and my upbringing merge in this beautiful story that God is revealing,” shares Blanca.
Continuing the celebration of a vibrant new musical chapter for the performer, and offering a first taste of her upcoming album, she and Yandel present this multicultural version of “Worthy,” full of colorful afrobeat beats and an energetic flavor. The song is accompanied by an official video, directed by Fernando Lugo (Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Drake).
“I have gone through loss, pain, and suffering in this life, but the joy of the Lord has been and always will be my strength. God is so worthy of everything, and I am truly living His goodness,” Blanca says of the message behind her latest song.
In addition to premiering this single, Blanca recently performed in Miami in front of 200 music industry professionals, influencers and media at a faith-focused brunch, prior to this year’s Latin GRAMMY® Awards. Currently, he is in the studio working on his fourth full-length album.
