That Mexican OT Says “Mucho Gracias” In Video

That Mexican OT is continuing his release run with a new video for “Mucho Gracias,” the penultimate track off his recent critically acclaimed mixtape Texas Technician. That Mexican OT exudes vulnerability on “Mucho Gracias,” as he reflects on his past struggles, vices, and the loss of his mother. Through the use of shadows and cooler tones, the video’s moody imagery shows OT surrounded by the closest members of his squad as well as penning verses in a dark room. His jagged lyrical flow is complemented by jazzy percussion and somber keys, which give the rapper atmospheric room to speak honestly about his life. OT pulls back the curtain on intimate details of his life through childhood photos, his mother’s tombstone, and some favorite toys and cartoon characters. In “Mucho Gracias,” viewers are treated to a side of OT that belies his Texas-sized public rap persona.

That Mexican OT recently announced his nationwide 2024 tour, featuring support from fellow Houston rapper Maxo Kream and his close confidante and “Johnny Dang” collaborator DRODi.Kicking off in Louisville, Kentucky on June 12, the tour criss-crosses the country for 33 dates, with stops in Nashville on June 30, New York on July 23, and at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado on June 18th, and including festivals like Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash and Austin City Limits.
