La La Anthony’s Winter Wonderland:Setting the Standard for Community, Culture, and Care
There are holiday celebrations, and then there are moments that truly resonate long after the season ends. On Friday, December 19, La La Anthony once again brought the spirit of the holidays back to the Bronx with her 8th Annual Winter Wonderland, transforming Gauchos Gym into a space filled with joy, generosity, and genuine community connection.
Now in its eighth year, Winter Wonderland has grown into far more than a festive gathering. It has become a meaningful tradition rooted in showing up, giving back, and creating experiences that center and celebrate Bronx youth. This year’s event welcomed more than 450 children and families from Girls Inc. of NYC and the Police Athletic League of the Bronx, offering an evening that blended holiday magic with real impact.
From the moment families walked through the doors, the energy was undeniable. The gym buzzed with excitement, music filled the room, and smiles stretched from wall to wall. The atmosphere felt warm, intentional, and deeply reflective of the Bronx itself, vibrant, resilient, and full of heart. Co-hosted by TV personality Paris Phillips, the evening flowed seamlessly, striking a balance between entertainment and moments of connection that made the experience feel personal and inclusive.
Surprise performances throughout the night kept the energy high, with appearances by Bay Swag, Bri3, Honey Bxby, Lola Brooke, and Zeddy Will. Their performances transformed the gym into a full celebration, offering not just entertainment but also inspiration, showing young attendees what it looks like to dream big while staying rooted in one’s origins. Popular streamers Tylil James and Zoe Spencer also joined the celebration, engaging with youth in a way that felt authentic and relatable, further bridging culture, creativity, and influence.
One of the most powerful moments of the evening came when La La Anthony was formally recognized for her continued dedication to the Bronx community. She received a proclamation from Councilman Kevin C. Riley and a citation from Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, honoring her leadership, consistency, and long-standing commitment to uplifting local youth. The recognition felt especially meaningful given Anthony’s years of hands-on involvement and her ongoing efforts to create opportunities that extend beyond a single night.
The event was proudly sponsored by Fashion Nova and Off-White, with additional support from Eat Clean Bro. Throughout the evening, special raffle moments brought excitement and surprise, with prizes donated by brands including Beats by Dre and Moose Knuckles. Beyond the raffles, every child in attendance received thoughtfully curated giveaways from Adidas, Fanatics, EOS, Dude Wipes, PSD Underwear, Topicals, Savage X Fenty, SheaMoisture, and Rookie Kids—ensuring that every guest left with something tangible and meaningful.
At its core, La La’s Winter Wonderland is about more than gifts or performances. It’s about access, intention, and impact. It’s about creating spaces where young people feel celebrated and supported, and where families can experience joy without barriers. By bringing together brands, artists, influencers, and community organizations, Anthony continues to build something lasting, an experience that uplifts, inspires, and invests in the future of Bronx youth.
As the evening came to a close, it was clear that Winter Wonderland is no longer just an annual holiday event. It’s a reflection of what community looks like when it’s done with care, consistency, and purpose, and a reminder that when you pour into the next generation, the impact echoes far beyond one season.
