Nicolas Cage Is Back In The All New “Spider-Noir” TV Show
Oscar winner Nicolas Cage returns in his first leading TV series role with a new look on the web-crawling superhero everyone knows and loves: Spider-Man – well, at least a different variant of the character.
The show itself is a spin-off of the animated Spider-Verse films starring Shameik Moore as Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy as they encounter a variety of different variants of Spider-Man (in which Cage provided his voice for his variant).
Spider-Noir follows Cage as Ben Reilly, a Spider-Man variant (known as The Spider) in 1930s New York City having to grapple with his past life while also serving as the city’s only superhero featuring the tagline: With No Power Comes No Responsibility.

Starring alongside Cage is Robbie Robertson as Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy and Jack Hutson as Flint Marko. Other co-stars include Brendan Gleeson, Jack Hutson and Brendan Gleeson.
While the show isn’t to air until May 27 of this year, both Amazon Prime & MGM+ is offering fans two unique methods of how to watch the show. One version in authentic black & white and another in true-hue full color.
Spider-Noir is being produced by Sony Pictures Television with Emmy-winner Harry Bradbeer of Fleabag & Killing Eve directing the first two episodes of the series. Executive producers and co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot have also worked with the team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal.
