Top NCAA Football Stars Featured in “Future Legends” Campaign
Legends, the culture-forward performance apparel brand, announced the launch of its “Future Legends” campaign featuring four of college football’s most dynamic players. The campaign introduces Julian Lewis, Dakorien Moore, Devin Sanchez, and Colin Simmons as the newest members of the Legends family, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion into the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) space.
The roster features:
- Julian Lewis, Quarterback, University of Colorado
- Dakorien Moore, Wide Receiver, University of Oregon
- Devin Sanchez, Cornerback, Ohio State University
- Colin Simmons, Linebacker, University of Texas
The campaign positions these rising stars not just as athletes, but as cultural leaders who embody the core values that drive the brand: Work Hard, Stay Humble; Take Risks; Embrace Adversity; and Lead by Example. The multi-platform campaign draws inspiration from iconic 80s and 90s sports and hip-hop magazine advertisements while balancing a polished editorial aesthetic.
“The Future Legends campaign represents more than just a partnership—it’s about honoring the next generation of icons and giving them a platform to tell their story, their way,” said Scott Hochstadt, CEO and Founder of Legends. “These four athletes embody the authenticity, hunger, and personal style that define what it means to be a Legend. We wanted to empower our Future Legends to create partnerships that move beyond traditional sports marketing, a strategy that has guided us in growing our athlete-investors and partners since our inception.
University of Texas linebacker Colin Simmons spoke for the Future Legends, saying, “We are all dogs. We all have that dominating mindset. This is an athlete’s brand, which was big for us, having our part in building alongside a brand.”
