Aaron Hibell Releases New Single Titled “s.o.s.”

Rising electronic music composer and producer Aaron Hibell releases his evocative new single, “s.o.s.,” out now via Astralwerks. The single marks his first release of 2025 that will be off his highly anticipated upcoming debut album which is set to come later this fall. “s.o.s.” reflects on a sense of despair and resilience as it’s a soundtrack for anybody searching for connection in a world full of noise. The track inspired by Radiohead seamlessly blends cinematic elements with orchestral and electronic textures, making this release just as expansive as it is emotional.

“‘s.o.s.’ is a really special song to me because it’s an example of an idea that I knew we had magic in, but it went through multiple iterations over the course of 3 years to nail the production. Everything about the DNA of this song was so instinctual and I think that’s why it has resonated so much. The rest of the song however was a big challenge in figuring out how we get the energy right throughout the track in order to set up this amazing moment we had created. That’s what took the time. But I’m so happy with the final result, it’s exactly how I had always imagined in my head now. I hope you enjoy this one.”

Over the last few months, Aaron Hibell has continued to stay busy as he is gearing up for his debut live show at Cercle Odyssey’s new immersive concert for their first-ever Paris installment on June 1st while opening for Ben Böhmer. In 2024, he released his fan-favorite singles “morning light” and his “set me free” collaboration with Alex Wann. “set me free” now has over 20M global streams on Spotify and served as part of the official soundtrack for last year’s Ultra Music Festival after movie, marking a massive career milestone for Aaron Hibell, who had the opportunity to score the entire Ultra Music Festival recap.

Since the “set me free” release last fall, powerhouse names in dance music such as Camelphat and Maxi Meraki have released their own remixes of the track. Sara Landry also featured Aaron Hibell on her debut album, Spiritual Driveby, for their collaboration “Veni Vidi Vici” which she recently played during her debut Coachella Music Festival set this year. Aaron Hibell has also been named Dancing Astronaut and EDMIdentity’s “Artist To Watch for 2025” and is truly proving his worth so far, with upcoming global performances including Tomorrowland, Parookaville, and Extrema Outdoor Festival.
