Lucasfilm Releases “The Manalorian and Grogu” Trailer

The story of The Mandalorian continues, only this time it’s on the big screen.

Pedro Pascal returns as Din Djarin along with his little green counterpart Grogu in The Mandalorian and Grogu, the first Star Wars film since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker which left critics and some fans with some disappointment upon its release.

The film’s trailer, released on February 17, gives a sneak peek into the characters’ next adventure in which they are tasked by the New Republic to hunt down Imperial warlords across the galaxy.

The trailer also gives a sneak preview of the characters who are set to appear in the film, including but not limited to some fan favorites. Actor Steven Blum returns as Garazeb “Zeb” Orrellios from the animated TV show Star Wars Rebels along with Jeremey Allen White of The Bear as Rotta the son of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars The Clone Wars.

Along with these returning characters, the trailer also brought some surprising cameos no one was expecting. The Mandalorian and Grogu is directed by Jon Favreau who was the creator and showrunner of the Mandalorian TV show on Disney+ along with other Star Wars related projects.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to hit theaters on May 22 of this year.
