QASIMI SS 2026: A Celebration
QASIMI marks a decade of thoughtful storytelling and cultural dialogue with the unveiling of its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Under the creative direction of Hoor Al Qasimi, the brand’s eleventh collection serves as both a tribute and a transformation, honoring the legacy of the late founder Khalid Al Qasimi while forging new paths through layered narratives, tactile innovation, and cross-cultural resonance.
This season’s collection is rooted in the values that have defined QASIMI since its inception: dialogue, duality, and the beauty of cultural hybridity. Drawing from Khalid’s vision, Hoor Al Qasimi presents a body of work that speaks to geographies both personal and political, crafting silhouettes that blend structured tailoring with loose, modular elements.
Grounded in Earth and Memory
The Spring/Summer 2026 palette remains faithful to the brand’s signature tones of rich browns, black, beige, and sand, with new energy delivered through innovative textures and techniques. A key standout this season is memory nylon, a fabric that retains and releases creases, symbolizing the impermanence of memory and the physical marks left by lived experience. This material recalls Khalid’s early explorations with distressed textiles and continues his tactile legacy in a poetic, futuristic manner.
Hybrid Craft and Emotional Resonance
Layering emerges as a central design principle, seen in multi-tiered shirts and modular jackets that reflect the accumulation of experiences and the fragmented nature of identity. In womenswear, tailored silhouettes merge with experimental cuts, including trouser-skirt hybrids and structural modular designs.
Honoring QASIMI’s utilitarian roots, the collection reintroduces archival check motifs and pocket-laden designs, presented with a refined, contemporary lens. Surplus materials are thoughtfully reimagined, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to circularity and responsible luxury.
Art, Collaboration, and the Language of Decay
In a compelling artistic collaboration, this season features the work of Dala Nasser, a Lebanese artist known for her process-led approach and engagement with place and impermanence. Her influence is visible in the frayed hems, raw edges, and doodle stitching that appear throughout the collection, echoing ancient Lebanese landscapes and the residues of time.
Accessories also expand on the theme of transformation. Crocheted keychains, shaped as fused animals, reflect a playful interpretation of evolution and the blending of origins.
A Living Tribute
QASIMI Spring/Summer 2026 is more than a fashion collection. It is a meditation on identity, memory, and coexistence. As the house celebrates its tenth anniversary, it also reaffirms its founding purpose: to use clothing as a platform for cultural unity and storytelling.
“The collaboration with QASIMI on the Spring/Summer 2026 collection has been one of the most inspiring experiences an artist could hope for,” said Dala Nasser. “It was deeply moving to see the team channel the transient nature of memory into wearable art.”
This season, QASIMI not only honors the past. It reimagines the future through garments that speak, remember, and evolve.
