Veejay Floresca Fall/Winter 2026: Modern Glamour in Motion

Veejay Floresca Fall/Winter 2026: Modern Glamour in Motion

On Monday morning, February 16th, inside the ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, modern glamour took center stage.

Veejay Floresca presented her Fall/Winter 2026 collection as a study in confidence, sensuality, and individuality. This wasn’t glamour for performance. It was glamour rooted in identity.

Inspired by the abstract expressionist works of Willem de Kooning, Floresca translated bold, gestural strokes and layered canvases into tactile fabrics, heavy knits, and sculptural finishes. Color felt intentional. Texture felt alive. Every look carried depth visually and emotionally.

Where Structure Meets Emotion

Oversized, fluid silhouettes moved with ease, striking a balance between spontaneity and control. There was something instinctive about the way the garments flowed, yet each piece was meticulously constructed. It’s that tension between freedom and precision that defines Veejay’s design language. Rooted in eveningwear and special-occasion dressing, the collection explored color, texture, and form through an elevated yet effortless lens. Sculptural gowns, architectural draping, and rich knitwear created pieces that felt striking but wearable. Feminine, but never fragile. Sensual, but never excessive. This is clothing designed for women who understand their presence.

A Commitment to Inclusivity

What stood out most was the spirit behind it all. Floresca’s commitment to inclusivity was clear. The collection celebrated beauty across ages and sizes, honoring individuality, confidence, and timeless self-expression. There was no singular version of glamour presented. It was expensive. And that felt intentional.

The Woman Behind the Vision

Born in the Philippines and now based in New York City, Veejay Floresca’s journey is defined by persistence and reinvention. A graduate of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, with a master’s degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and bridal studies at Central Saint Martins in London, she has built her foundation on craft.

After gaining international recognition as a finalist on Project Runway Philippines and winning Season 21 of Project Runway US, Floresca sharpened her focus on made-to-order, slow fashion—creating intimately with clients while refining her signature: sculptural silhouettes, architectural precision, and strategic reveals of skin.

Her philosophy is rooted in balance. Simplicity and complexity. Softness and strength. Elegance with edge. And you see that balance throughout Fall/Winter 2026.

A Notable Morning in NoMad

Guests included Christian Siriano, Rhiannon Ally, Evan Mock, Ari Chambers, Roshumba Williams, and CFDA CEO Steven Kolb, industry voices who understand the importance of storytelling through design. Set against the refined elegance of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, the presentation felt aligned with the collection’s tone: polished, intentional, and quietly powerful. Fall/Winter 2026 is not about excess. It’s about modern glamour with substance. About the texture that speaks. About silhouettes that hold space.

And most importantly, about women feeling seen, on their own terms.
