The Mercedes-Benz CLA Reimagines by Kidsuper

Mercedes-Benz continued to bridge the worlds of innovation, design, and cultural storytelling with its latest reveal under the “Class of Creators” series. On June 28, 2025, during Paris Fashion Week, the luxury automaker teamed up with fashion designer Colm Dillane of KidSuper to unveil a one-of-a-kind superhero-inspired reinterpretation of the all-new CLA.
The debut took place at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, inside the historic Louvre, where Dillane transformed the vehicle into a dynamic and whimsical expression of his artistic universe. The art car featured handcrafted design flourishes including turbine wings, balloon-like structures, a childhood-inspired slingshot, and nods to classic Mercedes models like the iconic 300 SL and the F 200 concept..

This fusion of nostalgia, playfulness, and craftsmanship captured Dillane’s distinct approach to storytelling. Known for blending bold visuals with emotional narratives, the KidSuper founder used the CLA as a blank canvas to push the boundaries of automotive design.
In tandem with the vehicle reveal, KidSuper showcased a 13-piece capsule collection during his Spring/Summer 2026 runway presentation. The limited-edition line incorporated design cues from both the art car and the Mercedes-Benz brand—resulting in pieces that fused tailored streetwear with mechanic Americana. Featuring trench coats, trousers, shirts, bags, and hats, the collection was brought to life with materials like canvas, cotton, vegan leather, and jersey. Many items also featured the historical Mercedes-Benz logo, offering a nod to the brand’s legacy while imagining a new future in fashion.

Dillane is the third of five global creatives chosen for the “Class of Creators” collaboration, following rapper Ice Spice and Swedish designer Gustaf Westman. Each artist is given full creative freedom to personalize the CLA through their unique lens, shaping a narrative that speaks to the evolving intersection of style, technology, and individuality.
Through initiatives like this, Mercedes-Benz continues to highlight its commitment to creativity beyond the automotive world—positioning the brand not just as a leader in engineering, but as a cultural tastemaker.
