Robert Wun Fall 2025 is a Beautiful Nightmare at Couture Week
The Robert Wun Fall 2025 collection titled “Becoming” stunned at Haute Couture Week in Paris, tying horror elements into breathtaking theatrical silhouettes.
Among said horror elements are blood splatter designs, which are not a first for Robert Wun, just last year featuring the “Bleeding Love” wedding gown in his SS24 collection “For Love.” The very first “Bleeding Love” gown was worn by Beyonce earlier this summer for her Cowboy Carter tour. Another standout part of the collection are sculpted bodies and limbs attached to the models, giving a hauntingly beautiful image in looks #23 and #25 where the sculptures rest under the models’ veils. Attached sculptures of body parts are another thing we’ve seen recently by Robert Wun, such as the closing look of the “For Love” collection titled “The Innocence.” These specific elements in his most recent collections mark a new era of Robert Wun. He already has a list of “signatures” that one can associate with his brand, including burnt edges of garments, stripped coque feathers, and dramatic wide-brimmed hats, just to name a few. With his 2025 Fall Collection, Robert Wun continues to excercize the elegance he always has while also making new strides as a designer.
A notable name to walk the runway for this collection was 90s runway icon Debra Shaw, who walked in a gorgeous scaled garment with a dynamic flowing headpiece.
As the first designer from Hong Kong to ever join the Paris haute couture calendar in 2023, Robert Wun was given a lot to carry on his shoulders serving as the first representative of his community’s artists in this event. Just two years later, he has already solidified himself as a staple of Paris Couture Week. His exquisite tailoring and cinematic presentation put on a show that continues to leave the fashion world in awe, every year more excited for his next move.
