Distinctive Co-creators

The design for each of the collections and sets presented a new theme. Co-creator Willow Smith’s collection consisted of large-scale coats and puffer jackets. Additionally, the models wore monochromatic looks in a natural setting. Trees, vines, and ferns lined the platform the models posed on. This set and collection represented a type of rebirth, putting emphasis on both human growth and nature.

Edward Enninful, past editor-in-chief of British Vogue, also co-created a collection for the show. His symbolic tower in “The City of Genius” took reference from the natural elements. Additionally, the sets included an iceberg and a sand dune, both with added conventional furniture. The models walked in and posed in all-black ensembles. Moncler, best known for its down jackets, showcased outerwear in an exquisite way.

Amongst Enninful and Smith, streetwear legend Hiroshi Fujiwara also collaborated with the Italian brand. This collection broke down the usual connotations that come with the term minimalism. Well-crafted down jackets appeared with color hidden inside them. Additionally, this section of the show proved that the meaning of a piece doesn’t have to come from the outside. Especially in fashion, everything should not be taken on face value. The beauty of these pieces result from the craftsmanship and passion of the team that created them.

This set and collection proved how creative and genius the two brands are.
