Cucculelli Shaheen Collection Twenty-Two: Electric Cosmos

On February 12, 2026, during New York Fashion Week, Cucculelli Shaheen unveiled Collection Twenty-Two: Electric Cosmos, a show that felt immersive, theatrical, and deeply intentional. Presented at the Bowery Ballroom as night fell over downtown Manhattan, the collection unfolded like a live symphony of craftsmanship, music, and storytelling.

Set against the intimate, moody backdrop of the iconic venue, the evening blurred the lines between runway and performance. Nashville-based band Calico Mantra performed live, infusing the show with an electric pulse that carried through every look. It wasn’t just background music—it was part of the narrative. In the world of founders Anna Rose Shaheen and Anthony Cucculelli, fashion and sound move together, building atmosphere with intention and edge.

Electric Cosmos collided Art Deco mysticism with baroque glam rock, creating a universe of incandescent myths, cosmic dancers, and nocturnal romance. The references were expansive yet cohesive, mystic sunsets, smoke-filled salles fumeurs, cosmic ballrooms, lilies of the night, and even nods to Josiah McElheny’s Island Universe. The result was a collection rooted in duality: darkness and illumination, structure and sensuality.

Intricate embroideries shimmered under the lights. Lily cabochons and sculptural detailing added dimension and texture, while fluid silhouettes introduced movement. Detachable elements offered transformation, reinforcing the idea that nothing in this cosmos is static. Each look felt intentional, lush in detail yet grounded in a downtown sensibility.

The brand’s signature DNA was undeniable: opulent craftsmanship balanced with subversive edge. There was romance, yes, but also restraint. Drama, but never excess. The energy in the room mirrored the collection’s spirit, intimate, artistic, and unapologetically expressive.

Hair was led by Mandee Tauber for Oribe, makeup by Terry Barber for MAC, and nails by Pattie Yankee. Production and casting were both handled by Muzam Productions, ensuring a seamless execution of the night’s layered vision.

Founded in 2016, Cucculelli Shaheen was born from the creative partnership and marriage of Anna Rose Shaheen and Anthony Cucculelli. After meeting in downtown New York and later designing in Florence, Italy, their collaboration evolved into a label known for lush detail, downtown silhouettes, and a refined yet rebellious point of view. With experience at houses such as Emilio Pucci, Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Yigal Azrouel, and Roberto Cavalli, their foundation is rooted in legacy, but their perspective remains distinctly their own.

With Electric Cosmos, Cucculelli Shaheen didn’t just present a collection. They built a world and for one night at the Bowery Ballroom, we were invited inside it.
