Aritzia Unveils New SoHo NYC Flagship Boutique
On Thursday, November 21st Aritzia, the Vancouver-based design house known for its Everyday Luxury wardrobe essentials and elevated experiences, hosted a cocktail celebration in honor of the opening of its new SoHo Flagship Boutique – marking an exciting chapter for the company in the United States.
Co-hosted by Aritzia CEO, Jennifer Wong, alongside Founder and Executive Chair, Brian Hill, the event welcomed VIP guests including Martha Stewart, as well as Irina Shayk, Paloma Elsesser, Alex Consani, Laura Harrier, Danielle Goldberg, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Reign Judge, Georgia Fowler, Isan Elba, Meredith Duxbury dressed in the latest styles from Aritzia to fête the brand’s flagship opening.
A cast of industry notables were also in attendance on the night, including top editors, stylists, and influencers. Guests enjoyed refreshments by Zélikha Dinga of Caro Diario and a live DJ set by Mona Matsuoka.
Attendees were provided the exclusive opportunity to tour the new Flagship before it opens to the public, taking in bespoke details of the space’s interior design throughout the evening, which was fully conceptualized and brought to life by the brand’s in-house team. The design draws upon the neighborhood’s heritage and distinctive Cast Iron architecture, with expansive marble surfaces, large archways, and sleek steel and glass partitions – all enriched by the subtle texture of wire-wheeled oak, tin-coffered ceilings, and a palette of neutral greys, whites and industrial blacks that are softened by bronze glass accents.
This year, Aritzia celebrates its 40th anniversary, continuing to move forward with purpose. Expanding its presence in one of New York City’s most premier retail neighborhoods, the new, repositioned Flagship Boutique takes over what was formerly the iconic Dean & Deluca space and is notably more expansive than the former SoHo Boutique — the brand’s first flagship in Manhattan, which opened in 2011. Spanning three floors, this landmark opening demonstrates Aritzia’s commitment to retail expansion in the New York market and broader USA.
The new Aritzia SoHo Flagship Boutique opens to the public on Tuesday, November 26th at 560 Broadway New York, NY 10012.
