Alice + Olivia : The Spirit of the American Woman with Spring 2026 Collection
New York, NY — September 13, 2025 — For Spring 2026, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet transformed New York City’s historic Surrogate’s Court into an immersive ode to the American Woman, debuting a collection that blended history, culture, and modern style in the lead-up to the United States’ 250th anniversary.
A Celebration of American Women
Guests including Ashlee Simpson, Nicky Hilton, Sarah Pidgeon, Brooks Nader, Ava Dash, Liz Gillies, Julia Butters, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jenny Mollen, Sofia Bryant, and Tina Craig joined Stacey Bendet for the occasion. Against the grandeur of the Beaux-Arts architecture, attendees sipped Casamigos cocktails while vibing to a live DJ set by Blu DeTiger, perfectly in step with the energy of the collection.
“In 2026, as we honor the 250th anniversary of the United States, we celebrate the American woman,” said Stacey Bendet, founder, creative director, and CEO. “A woman who has shaped our culture, inspired our art, defined our fashion, and moved through history with strength and style. This collection is a love letter to her.”
The Collection: Past Meets Present
Bendet’s 45-look lineup reimagined classic American sportswear while weaving in nods to decades of fashion innovation. A bias-cut jersey gown in poppy red evoked 1940s glamour with minimalist polish, while long, lean men’s suiting reworked for women conveyed sharp modern confidence. Playful collegiate knits, polos, pleated minis, baggy jeans, and ball skirts embraced preppy ease and youthful flair.
The palette was bold and versatile: primary colors met soft pastels, from emerald green and navy to pale pink and yellow. Textural innovation was central this season, with lace, burnout chiffons, jacquards, sequins, and beadwork enriching surfaces. Eveningwear ranged from romantic Gilded Age-inspired ball gowns with sweeping trains to a corseted mini dress channeling 1950s bombshell glamour.
An Immersive Experience
The Surrogate’s Court became an integral part of the storytelling. Guests encountered a 20-foot Statue of Liberty reimagined in a butterfly-and-rose gown, a symbolic mural of the American flag, and a rewritten Constitution titled We the Women. Together, these installations underscored the narrative of resilience, creativity, and identity woven throughout the collection.
Behind the Beauty
The presentation came together with the expertise of a world-class creative team. Glen Oropeza led hair styling in partnership with Amika and Bio Ionic, while makeup was crafted by T. Cooper for Lip Lab. Nails were designed by Miss Pop for Salon Perfect, and skincare prep was provided by YesYou. Special thanks went to Upneeq®, Hollywood Fashion Secrets, Casamigos, Ardell, WetBrush, and The Kacey Welch Method, whose contributions helped realize the vision of the show.
