SON JUNG WAN Draws Star Power at NYFW FW26
New York Fashion Week always brings out the industry’s finest, but the energy inside the IAC Building on Saturday, February 14th, felt especially electric.
For her Fall/Winter 2026 runway show, Son Jung Wan didn’t just present a collection; she gathered icons.
Front row, the room shimmered with presence. June Ambrose arrived in full force, embodying the bold confidence that defines both her career and the brand’s ethos. Beside her, Kelly Bensimon brought polished glamour, while the legendary Pat Cleveland reminded everyone what true fashion history looks like in motion. When pioneers and power players align under one roof, you feel it.
That is star power.
The guest list extended well beyond the front row. Blake Evin, Corinne Collado, Emily Kammeyer Sumner, Melissa Vale, Sophie Cohen, Erika Dwyer, and Sarah Johnson were all spotted in attendance, many dressed in SON JUNG WAN, effortlessly translating the collection’s structured elegance into real-life sophistication.
There’s something powerful about watching influential women show up for a designer who has built her brand with intention. With 54 stores across Asia and over 110 points of sale globally, Son Jung Wan remains one of Seoul’s most successful female designers, and her presence at New York Fashion Week continues to bridge continents through craftsmanship and modern luxury.
Editors. Stylists. Cultural tastemakers. Industry veterans. A multigenerational wave of women who have shaped fashion, and continue to do so, gathered to celebrate a designer whose work speaks to resilience, structure, and refined strength.
They arrived not simply as guests, but as living archives of style, women who have defined eras, shifted narratives, and built platforms for the next generation. In one room, legacy met evolution. Experience met experimentation. Their presence was more than symbolic; it was a reminder that fashion is carried forward by women who understand both its history and its power. Together, they honored a creative force whose designs mirror their own journeys, intentional, enduring, and unapologetically strong.
