World Pride Music Festival Weekend Launched in Washington DC

Starting June 6th-7th, the bi-annual World Pride Music Festival will kick-off Pride Month in Washington, DC for the first time ever. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Capital Pride, the largest LGBTQIA+ event is here to keep you grooving on the dance floor! The festival will be held on RFK festival grounds from 1p.m. to 11p.m.

Groups 18 and older will have endless entertainment with various musical appearances split between both days. As well as that, there will be multiple stages to allow festival-goers to switch between pop, techno and so much more!

On Friday, June 6th, fans are anticipating performances from Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Tinashe and other talented individuals. These influential pop moguls are sure to bring energetic hits that keep festival goers entertained. 

In perfect timing, Tinashe released her new hit single, No Broke Boys on June 6th, bringing all the vibes for the World Pride Music Festival. This techno anthem is a high energy, empowering love letter to kickstart the summer. Tinashe writes, “Now I got standards, give a f*ck how you feel.” It is fun, care-free and hypnotic. 

Similarly, Rita Ora launched her own single, Heat, on June 6th. This sexy tune incorporates sultry sound with heart-pounding beats. Whether having a night out with your girls or getting ready for a summer kickback, listeners are in for an enjoyable treat. 

On Saturday, June 7th, fans can expect to see Troye Sivan, Kim Petras and Reneé Rapp, and much more. Between the amazing acts and beautiful colors, those in attendance are sure to be aesthetically pleased.
