TOKiMONSTA Drops Anticipated Album ‘Eternal Reverie
Grammy-nominated artist, producer and label-head TOKiMONSTA has officially released her heavily anticipated studio album, Eternal Reverie, out now on Young Art Records
A new music video for the album’s single “Enjoy Your Life,” directed by Sam Frank, is also released today at 9am PST / 12pm EST.
Additionally, Young Art Records will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary party during Miami Music Week at ZeyZey on March 27th with Keys N Krates, Cakes Da Killa, TOKiMONSTA, and many other special guests.
Originally envisioned as her first fully immersive creative project, Eternal Reverie took on a deeper significance after TOKiMONSTA stepped away from the music scene last fall to care for her best friend, Regina, during her final days. The album has since evolved into a tribute honoring her friend and the meaningful relationships that shape us all, with each track reflecting TOKiMONSTA’s emotional and artistic journey during this poignant period. It also marks a significant evolution in her discography, reflecting the full mastery she’s developed over years in the music industry and a refined approach to production. Eternal Reverie touches on the full spectrum of her influences, from the early beat scene rhythms and lush soundscapes that first defined her sound to deep house basslines and dance floor-rooted drums that showcase her versatility and creative growth.
The new album follows TOKiMONSTA’s recent 15-stop North American Eternal Reverie Tour announcement, which is set to kick off on March 28th – 30th at Miami’s ULTRA Music Festival with stops in Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, and more before wrapping up on June 21st in Chicago. Tickets are now available for purchase here: https://tokimonsta.com/#tour
TOKiMONSTA first teased Eternal Reverie with “Switch It,” a high-octane deep house banger featuring Cakes da Killa and GAWD. She continued to unveil the album with the samba-inspired “Corazon / Death By Disco Pt. 2,” followed by “On Sum,” a soulful collaboration with longtime friend Anderson .Paak and Rae Khalil, accompanied by a touching music video that tells the story of an older couple falling in love at a laundromat. Her genre-bending single, “Feel It,” featuring LA duo PARTYOF2, showcased her ability to craft boundary-pushing dancefloor anthems, blending house and hip-hop with infectious energy. Her most recent offering, “Lucky U,” featuring Gavin Turek, pairs her stirring vocals and empowering lyrics with an uplifting, bold production, adding the final touch to TOKiMONSTA’s magnum opus. Directed by Andrpw, the song’s music video perfectly mirrors the song’s message of self-worth and the idea that being with someone like you is more than a privilege—it’s a stroke of luck, celebrating confidence and individuality. Prior to the album’s postponement last fall, TOKiMONSTA collaborated with aespa on their track “Die Trying,” featured on Netflix’s Rebel Moon: Songs of the Rebellion EP.
