In order to qualify for the Hall of Fame, the songwriter’s first commercially released composition has to be at least 20 years old. Swift’s first commercial release, “Tim McGraw”, hit radio stations in June of 2006. For her submission into the hall, Swift selected her songs “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”, “Black Space”, “Anti-Hero”, “Love Story” and “The Last Great American Dynasty” for consideration. The induction itself is planned to take place on June 11 of this year at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
Since the conclusion of Swift’s record breaking “Eras Tour”, Swift’s newest album “The Life of a Showgirl” has dominated the music charts with songs such as “The Fate of Ophelia” reaching the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 for 10 weeks along with the song “Opalite” reaching the second spot.
