Where Indy Speed Met Electronic Sound

During the inaugural Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, SILO redefined what a race weekend could look like by merging high-speed motorsport and electronic music.

Between March 12-15, the Dallas nightlife brand curated a multi-day takeover across the cities of Arlington & Dallas. The biggest event of this weekend was the block party at AT&T Discovery District, where global DJ star Tiësto headlined the most anticipated events by turning downtown into a massive dance floor! Along with Tiësto, SILO hosted a Race Week lineup with other electronic acts such as Alison Wonderland and Beltran.

SILO’s event coincided with the debut of an INDYCAR race that was set to be held on an all new 2.7-mile street circuit in Arlington. In a partnership with Juncos Hollinger Racing, SILO became the only nightlife brand to be represented on the track with driver Rinus VeeKay represented SILO’s brand with the No. 76 Chevrolet and would go on to finish 14th overall while also leaving SILO’s mark on the track as well.

“We’d like to thank SILO for their support of the No.76 this weekend…” Dave O’Neill, the Team Principal of Juncos Hollinger Racing stated, “… and for being such a great partner through a busy few days of activations around the event,” he added.

In total, over 13,000 fans attended the events brought on by SILO, which for the brand marked a milestone they will forever remember by demonstrating that as a brand they are able to position themselves in a manner that combines entertainment with sport and innovation.
