Ryan Castro Releases “The Rhythm That Unites Us”

RYAN CASTRO has a love for music and soccer that has finally join forces! To the rhythm of reggaeton, Castro, the chart-toppin Medellin native collaborates with multi-platinum producer/artist SOG for “EL RITMO QUE NOS UNE,” a pulsating anthem serving as the official song for Colombia’s Senior Men’s National soccer team. The track also includes the voices of two-star players from the team, Juan Fernando Quintero and Luis Diaz.

“El Ritmo Que Nos Une” made its official debut Saturday, June 8th at the USA vs Colombia soccer match at Commander’s Field in Maryland, along with a music video that was shot in Barranquilla, the home of the Colombian National Team. The track is a fusion of classic Reggaeton sounds, with traditional Colombian rhythms such as cumbia, that celebrates the pride and unity soccer transmits in the country, especially when the national team comes together to play.

“I feel very proud to be able to dedicate a song to our Colombian national team. I think we all grew up watching our idols and being able to unite soccer and music is something I will never forget. I hope we can celebrate many triumphs with this song. This is my invitation to sing along to the rhythm of the Colombian national team’s goals!” – RYAN CASTRO

This song is also a true testament of Ryan Castro’s friendship with Luis Diaz and Juan Fernando Quintero, who are recognized worldwide for their talent on the field. He was able to bring them into his realm for a song that will bring excitement to Colombians and the Colombian Senior Men’s National Team that will be competing in the United States in June and July 2024.

“For us it is very exciting to be part of a song that we know will awaken the passion of all our fans for the sport we love and the team that unites us. We want everyone in every part of the country to support us and enjoy the song that was made by a Colombian artist and in which we had the opportunity to show another facet of our lives,” express the players.

Last month, Ryan Castro released his debut studio album, The Ghetto Singer, which quickly scored a RIAA platinum certification and reached #2 on Spotify’s Top Albums Global Debut. The album is a personal tribute to his roots and humble upbringing in his hometown, spanned across an 18-track set that is shaped by classic reggaetón, dancehall and trap.
