It’s the season for giving and sharing, and Laidback Luke brought a bag of treats for his loyal fans with a big remix of Charli XCX hits!
Two very special remixes of singles culled from pop superstar Charli xcx’s critically acclaimed studio album, ‘BRAT.’ Luke’s been playing them in his sets, and due to popular demand from his fans, he’s making them available to stream now via Soundcloud. Check out our previous coverages here.
“Who didn’t have a Brat summer? Charli XCX ruled, and I wanted a version of “Guess” that I could play in my sets – one specially catered to club and festival DJs. I had the hardest time making one because the original is so good! After many weeks of road testing, I landed on this one. It’s been working like magic for my dancefloors ever since. For my “Talk Talk” remix, I was instantly inspired by the lyric “I wanna fly you out to Amsterdam” because that needed a signature Dirty Dutch treatment! It was such fun going back to my Dutch House roots, and this has been a weapon since the first time I tested it out live. So, for this Holiday season, here are two Laidback Luke remixes of Charli xcx for your enjoyment.
