Tour Dates Announced From Girl Group KATSEYE

KATSEYE to go on tour soon

Tour Dates Announced From Girl Group KATSEYE

Following an explosive response to their hit single “Gnarly” and the quieter follow-up “Gabriella”, KATSEYE released their debut EP on June 27, 2025. The album received mixed reviews from critics, but was a hit amongst fans— providing the exact same danceable, positive pop that people were expecting from the group. The group has now announced a tour of the US, starting November 15.

The enormous success of the EP and group as a whole is owed mainly to their performances— active listeners may remember the deluge of criticism that “Gnarly” received in the first few days following its release. On its own, the lyrics don’t really hold water— with Lara Raj’s vocal talents being wasted on lines like “Now you be like, gang. Gang, gang, gang, gang, gang.” But the group quickly redeemed themselves with their stage presence and overall charisma as performers. The song quickly went viral, not because of the lyrics, but because people everywhere were attempting to recreate the dance, which was addictive to both watch and try. Fancams of the group quickly gained popularity as people couldn’t help but admire how the choreo perfectly synchronized with the lyrics.

Considering their performance is their main strength right now, the group is making the right move by going on tour. Capitalizing on their current virality while also allowing fans to see the group live and in person will allow the group to build on their popularity while connecting with longtime fans. Moreover, content-dispersion sites such as TikTok have made it easier for artists to share and go viral for their personality; many artists, such as Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter have seen their popularity increase because casual listeners or non-listeners stumbled upon a video of them delivering an incredible performance and decided to look at their larger discography. While KATSEYE is already quite popular, this tour is sure to help them solidify their place within the music industry.
