Karri & Kehlani Team Up For New Single “Go”

Rising R&B artist Karri releases “Go,” his new single and video with Kehlani out now via Playing For Legacy (PFL). Reimagining the iconic beat from E-40’s “Tell Me When To Go,” the track layers lush synths and organs under Karri and Kehlani’s harmonies, creating a sultry ode to whirlwind romance.

The 22-year-old San Francisco native has quickly become one of R&B’s most talked-about newcomers. Named Billboard’s “R&B Rookie of the Month” (Jan 2025) and an “Artist to Watch in 2025,” Karri has already earned co-signs from Drake, Kehlani, Lil Baby, and Saweetie. Lil Baby praised him as “one of my favorite current R&B artists” live to millions of fans.

Karri broke through in 2023 with “3AM In Oakland,” which went viral on TikTok and now counts 17M+ Spotify streams. The success drew the attention of Drake and OVO Chubbs, who signed him to Playing For Legacy. Since then, Karri has delivered a string of standout tracks:

  • Oakland Baby” (1.7M Spotify, 434K YouTube) with Isaiah Falls
  • fmyx” (produced by P-Lo) and “dirty diana” – covered by BET and OnesToWatch
  • slauson ave” – later sampled by Ye and King Combs

His debut EP Late Night Slider Music featured “Oakland Pt. 2,” which has surpassed 2.2M YouTube views, further proving his staying power. Karri also earned mainstream attention in 2024 when he threw the first pitch at Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, in a moment highlighted on Billboard’s TikTok.

Now, with “Go” and his upcoming project Late Night Slider Music II due later this year, Karri is poised to evolve from Bay Area hometown hero into one of R&B’s most exciting global voices. Check out more music here.
