Iman Nunez Releases New Single “Waited Too Long…”
After the success of his R&B single “You and Me” featuring Abby Jasmine, Yonkers’ own Iman Nunez returns with a deeply reflective track, “Waited Too Long…” produced by N-I-N-E, CAI, and Th3ory. While his previous single celebrated the highs of love, this latest release explores its heartbreaks and the struggles of timing in relationships.
Iman delivers raw vulnerability with lyrics like:
“Planting seeds and bearing fruits to mirror your reflections, thinking I ain’t worthy of your presence due to the flaws I’ve been correcting, but this chase is like a drug, it’s hard to kick it when once infected. The only vice I had when I was stuck in these blues. Nothing feels close to this reality unless I’m with you… I bled my truths just to get closer to you…”
“Waited Too Long…” captures the painful reality of relationships—the realization that sometimes doing too little or even too much can’t save a love that’s slipping away. Produced by N-I-N-E, Cai, & Th3ory, with additional vocals from Haysuse and TJ Brown, the track demonstrates Iman’s emotional depth and musical versatility.
