HOMER Releases Debut Album ‘Ensatina’

Today, Grammy-nominated renowned drummer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Homer releases his debut album Ensatina via Big Crown. His storied career in music started when he was just a teenager, and his distinctive stickwork helped blend the raw-but-receptive soul sound back into the mainstream via the likes of Amy Winehouse and Sharon Jones. Homer (aka Homer Steinweiss) is now one of the most in demand drummers in the world, playing with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Clairo, SolangeAdeleSilk Sonic / Bruno Mars and Fleet Foxes, to name a few. With Ensatina, Homer is now stepping to the forefront as both musician and producer.

Homer also recently shared “Wishing Well” – a groovy and moody track that pulls influences from electro, trip hop, and soul. The blending of synths and horns over chugging drums makes the perfect backdrop for girl named GOLDEN’s ethereal vocals – she floats over the track hitting all the changes with infectious melodies that make the tune an earworm. In addition to “Wishing Well,” Ensatina includes precious singles “So Get Up! featuring MINOVA and Michael Rault, “Rollin’” featuring acclaimed soul singer KIRBY; “Deep Sea (feat. Hether)”; and “Racecar Driver” featuring KIRBYHether and a girl named GOLDEN
