Artist Sherm Collabs With Smith & Sorren For Groovy Single

DJ Mag-acclaimed Chicago artist Sherm and buzzing NYC duo Smith & Sorren are ready to take house fans on a high-flying experience with their new single “Jet Life” out now on Low Ceiling.

The track opens with the familiar sounds of a flight attendant’s voice—a playful sample instructing passengers to prepare for takeoff,  powering down their electronics and other familiar instructions. As the beat drops, Sherm, Smith & Sorren fuse pulsing basslines and hypnotic rhythms, setting the stage for a listening experience that feels both vintage and cutting-edge.

Known for his magnetic presence and dedication to Chicago’s music scene, Sherm has recently made waves on major stages like North Coast Music Festival. Additionally, Sherm was tapped by none other than John Summit to host Summit’s recent ‘Conversations and Q&A’ event in Chicago. On November 23, Sherm and fellow Chicago-based podcaster and industry influencer Olivia Mancuso are gearing up for their inaugural Chicago Music Nexus event – a game changing event for artists and music industry leaders to connect, elevate their careers, and learn from various keynote panels with DJ Lady D, Dani Deahl, and others.

Smith & Sorren, longtime friends turned hit-making collaborators, have seen major success on the global stage. With placements on Spotify editorial playlists like Housewerk, New Music Friday Dance, and Friday Crate Diggers, and spins on SiriusXM, Insomniac Radio, and Dash Radio, they’re known for bringing big energy and innovative production to everything they touch. They’ve earned support from icons like Diplo, who recently played a track of theirs at Brooklyn Mirage, and Alesso, who supported another song of theirs this year’s at EDC Orlando. Their music also earned a shout-out from Doctor Fresch, and a coveted feature on 1001 Tracklists alongside fellow talents Proppa and Rich Dietz.

Together, Sherm and Smith & Sorren are the perfect crew to pilot Jet Life—a track made to celebrate the genre’s classic spirit.
