Overnight, Olskool Ice-Gre and E.P. Da Hellcat, also known as the legendary male/female Chicago Hip-Hop duo Abstract Mindstate, released their long-awaited new album The Art Project. To accompany the release this morning (7/18/2025), the duo shared the official music video for the Sly Pyper-assisted album standout “Who Would’ve Thunk It” via YouTube. Shot and directed in Atlanta by Sam Nunez and Jean-Pierre, the visuals are dedicated to Gre’s late childhood friend who played an integral role in the completion of the project.

This song is about a perfect relationship going south. If you’ve actively been in the dating scene you’ve probably experienced one of those where it felt like the stars aligned and it can’t possibly get any better. Then, out of nowhere, it takes a turn for the worse. And you and everyone around the relationship can’t believe it ended. All you can say is ‘Who Would’ve Thunk It’… It’s a conversation we’ve never put into song as a duo, but we’ve both experienced this in our own personal lives.” – Olskool Ice Gre
