‘The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On’

‘The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On’

The new Netflix show “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On” is perfect for any reality television lover. The show seems to be similar to the popular TV show, “The Bachelor,” as it features romance and drama. However, this show seems to be a bit more dramatic, as it brings in couples already together and gives them an ultimatum.

Plot

The show follows six different couples who are all on the brink of engagement. After an ultimatum is issued by one of the people in the relationship, a trial marriage occurs with one of their co-stars. They live with a partner of their choice for three weeks as part of the trial marriage. Once the three weeks are up, the person moves back in with their original partner. This is when a decision needs to occur. Decision choices include staying together, getting engaged, leaving entirely, or pursuing a relationship with their trial partner. The show has officially wrapped and every episode is available to stream on Netflix.

Background

The concept alone is likely to have anyone hooked. There is so much drama going on in such little time. This show is similar to “Love Is Blind”, which recently ended its second season. This left reality television fans desperate to find something new to watch. Enter “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On.”

Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey are a real-life couple and “Love Is Blind” creators bring the show to viewers. The show is 10 episodes long and spans the course of eight weeks, ensuring plenty of drama. Throughout the show, some relationships crash and burn, others grow stronger and some bring upon loads of drama. The show released April 6 and is the perfect series to binge-watch as the last finale and reunion episodes dropped April 13. For those interested in watching the show, here is the trailer.
