Known for it’s simple and high quality clothing at an affordable price, Uniqlo is dropping a collection with French fashion designer, and style icon Ines De La Fressange.
The seaside-inspired collection is based off of Deauville–a seaside resort in northwestern France, that is near and dear to Ines’ heart. Spending holidays there with her grandmother, Deauville was where she saw high fashion for the very first time–French women dressed to the nines–and the rest was history. The collection is inspired by just that–”graceful wardrobe essentials”, with the motif “luxurious clothes, and beyond”. Within that, are the three concepts that follow a neutral color palette and embody Deauville as a whole.
Day Trip symbolizes just that– a day trip to Deauville with soft concepts and even accessories like bags, scarves, and hats.
Effortless consists of denim, linen, and cotton for a stylish, yet laid-back look that lies within the name–effortless.
Marine captures navy-hues from dresses to coats, which is popular amongst Parisians when dressing for the spring and summer.
One of Ines’ beliefs and values in designing clothes is that all women can look and feel their best–and Uniqlo’s clothing exceeds those values.
The Uniqlo x Ines De La Fressange Collection drops this Thursday February 18th. The prices range from $19.90 to $129.90, and will be available in stores and online.
